Many home owners tend to hold on to their homes until summer before putting them on the market.
But home buyers aren’t waiting till summer to move into the market – they want to buy now.
Demand is still high and interest rates are still good. There is a strong possibility that rates will increase later in the year.
Another factor is that there are more properties on the market during spring and summer. Buyers have far more choices and options in the warmer months.
Also developers held back many building plans during the lockdown. So a very small amount of development occurred.
There are buyers keen to buy a home now. Why wait?
